Well here's the remix of my contoversial cut "Change" This is about 2 minutes of the cut....

Roel did a great remix of it, though not really what I had in mind conceptually.

AJ (bluezplayer) agreed to do a remix as well and here is the result.

I am very pleased with AJ's remix and intend to use it on the cd. I did ever so slightly retweak the dynamics, but it remains 99 1/2% AJ.

As always constructive feedback welcomed.

And big time thanks to AJ for the time, effort and expense of doing it.

I like this remix too. The biggest thing is that now I can understand the words better than before, and that is important to me.

Bigger is not always better

This changed (a 3rd time ) remix demonstrates just 'how much' sound engineering' can effect the 'end resuslt' of a song. Though I personally prefer Roel's mix, I understand AJ's mix because it preserves the drum (bongo, timable?) rhythm Terry wanted from his original version. As Terry sing's in his song: 'there are many types of changes', and this one is a 'happy change' for Terry . Good work guys. - Scott

Thanks for the comments Scott and Tom, and thanks to Terry for allowing me the chance to work with it, for posting it and for your comments. It's much appreciated and it was a pleasure working with this song, which I like very much. I don't remember what Roel's mix sounded like at this point, ( perhaps I can find it again ) so it's hard for me to compare.

I simply tried to interpret what Terry was doing and looking for in this song, and then I remixed it and did a little mastering.
